Terms and conditions of use
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the artificialss.ai website (the “Site”), operated by Artificialss (“Artificialss”, “we”), based in Costa Rica.
By using the Site you declare that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. This English text is a courtesy translation; the Spanish version prevails.
1. What this Site is
The Site presents Artificialss, its artificial intelligence and software products, its services (software development, data engineering, training, legal services and others), its portfolio and its open-source projects, and offers forms to contact us or request information.
2. Informational only; not professional advice
The Site's content is general and informational. It is not legal, financial, immigration or other professional advice, and reading it does not create an attorney-client or consulting relationship.
Professional services you request through the Site, including legal advisory services, are provided under the engagement terms agreed in writing with whoever provides them. Until then, submitting a form does not oblige either party to contract.
3. Forms and requests
You agree to provide truthful information and not to submit third-party data without the right to do so. We aim to answer requests but do not guarantee a reply, a timeframe or the acceptance of a project. Quotes and proposals are not binding until formalized in writing.
The contact information you submit and our customers' data are confidential and we protect them; how we handle it is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- interfere with its operation, overload it, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- submit unlawful, misleading or malicious content or content that infringes third-party rights, or use the forms to send unsolicited messages (spam);
- extract its content in bulk or by automated means, or bypass usage limits or security measures;
- impersonate another person or entity.
We may limit or block access when we detect use contrary to these Terms or a threat to the Site.
5. Intellectual property and open source
The Site's design, text, images, software and trademarks (including Artificialss, LeyReal, Papasar, Antiquantum, Marca.eco and CryptoAlly) belong to Artificialss or are used under license, and may not be reproduced or used without written authorization, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Public repositories linked from the Site are governed by the license stated in each repository (for example, MIT), which prevails for that code.
6. Third-party products, links and services
The Site links to our own products, which have independent terms and privacy policies (for example, LeyReal.com has its own), and may link to third-party sites or services. We do not control third parties' content or policies and are not responsible for them. When you use another product or site, its own terms apply.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or withdraw the Site or any part of it at any time. Products labeled “Coming soon”, “Alpha” or “Beta” may change or may never be offered.
8. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by Costa Rican law, Artificialss does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or decisions made based on its content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for willful misconduct, nor the non-waivable rights that the Law on the Promotion of Competition and Effective Consumer Protection (Law No. 7472) grants to consumers.
9. Personal data protection
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and by the Law on the Protection of Persons regarding the Processing of their Personal Data (Law No. 8968) and its regulations.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with its update date. For material changes we will try to give visible notice. Continued use of the Site after publication means you accept the updated version.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica, without prejudice to the rights and procedures that consumer protection laws grant to those who qualify as consumers.
12. Language
These Terms are published in Spanish and English. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
